Has anyone seen the schedule posted anywhere.? On RFD's website all I can find is that it will be held Feb. 20-22. If you attended last year do you remember the schedule.? Of course we want to see barrel racing.!! :
)
Thanks.!! & Merry Christmas.!!!

I know slack is the 18th and 19th but I haven't found much. We bought our tickets through the stockyards rodeo website and saved money that way with their package deal.

I've been trying to figure this out, since my husband is entered, but haven't had much luck. From what I have read, sounds like they will run everyone split between Friday and Saturday, then have performances Saturday at 7 and Sunday at 2 for the top 20. Does that sound right?

I found this information below in an older thread... but I am wondering if its accurate since there are 3 performances???
• If fewer than 650 total barrel racing qualifier entries are receive only the Top 5 Semi-Finalists will move on to AT&T Stadium and the American Rodeo. 650-749 the Top 6 Semi-Finalists move on. 750-849 the Top 7 Semi-Finalists move on. 850-949 the Top 8 Semi-Finalists move on. 950-1049 the Top 9 Semi-Finalists move on. 1050 and above the top 10 Semi-Finalists will move on.
Semi-Finals
The Semi-Finals will consist of 100 contestants from the qualification races, plus the 2014 BBR World Champion, the 2014 College National Finals Rodeo Champion, the 2014 High School National Finals Rodeo Champion and the possible RFD-TV Exemption Match or Exemption contestant. These individuals have already paid their $500 entry fee at the qualification races, so there is no entry fee. Not including the possible RFD-TV Exemption contestants, 103 contestants will run one slack run. The top 20 times from slack will proceed to the Semi-Finals ShootOut Round where they will be split into two sets of 10.
The Semi-Finals ShootOut round will be run as two rodeo performances. One set of 10 will run in one rodeo performance on Saturday at 7PM and the second set of 10 will run on Sunday at 2PM. After those 20 individuals run in the performances, along with the possible RFD-TV Exemption Match or Exemption contestant, the top 5 or 10 times
(depending on the total number of participating contestants who entered a qualification race
) and the possible Exemption Match winner, or Exemption contestant, will solidify their spot in THE AMERICAN.
The pay-out at the Semi-Finals will come from 25% of the $500 entry fee that contestants paid at the qualification races. 20% of the total purse will be paid in the slack round. 80% will be paid out in the ShootOut round after both rodeo performances.
