Ive decided one of my New Years resolutions is to say NO. That goes along with getting along with people. But I WILL NOT be pushed around anymore.

I work with a coworker that is a "friend" about 50% of the time. She told me about the job and I appreciate it but I do not trust her. She is fine one day and the next the complete opposite. Shes been off for the past 2 weeks. Anyway

We have to come in early the first working day of the month to finish "end of month" things before we can begin our new monthly things. No big deal, come in at 5am and get done by 6 then start on the normal daily things. I live almost an hour away so that means I get up at 330 to get there by 5. She lives 5 min away.....

She texts me last night to ask if we can come in at 4. I originally said NO. She said please- I need my 8 hrs and I have something to do in the afternoon. So I agreed.

I wake up at 2:30 (I am NOT a super early morning person and I head to work. Get here at 4 she is NOT HERE. 4:30 she comes rolling in. Then starts telling me how her daughter is so sick and wont be able to wait until Monday to have her gallbladder taken out.

As soon as the boss showed up at 7 she asked to leave. I wanted to strangle her. Her daughter is MARRIED and yet she HAS to take her to the dr for bloodwork today?

She left and I blew. I am over it now but this is really chickensh*t of her to make a big ordeal that she HAS TO HAVE her 8 hrs then come in for 4 and leave. Meanwhile I am about to fall asleep at my desk and am stuck until a few other people get to work and can open PO's and do a few other things that I am not allowed to do but have to be done. I could have came in at 6 and still been ok.

So from now on... the answer is NO and that is my final answer. I didn't even get a thank you.....
