| What's the difference between the Boyfriend fit, Riding Jean, and the Midrise? I'm used to wearing cruel girl georgia, wrangler mae or cowgirl tuff, but i'm wanting to try something else. | |

Location: Oklahoma | I can't really explain the difference, but I'm sure that it's on their website. I pretty much live in their riding jeans these days. I also like Cowgirl Tuff (haven't tried their riding jeans... if they even offer them), but there is just something about the R&R riding jeans that makes them out of this world comfortable. I still have yet to ride in them, so no opinions on that part! I know that the riding jeans sit a little bit lower than the mid rises, but not so low that your bum will be showing if you bend over.
I also really like the Ariat riding jeans. I have two pairs and they are also very comfortable for everyday use. | |

| I have a pair of all 3 and the riding jean is my favorite pair of jeans that I've ever worn. I live in them. The boyfriend fit that I have is a higher rise that is loose through the butt and thigh. Not the most flattering for my body type. The low rise are cute and comfy but I am constantly pulling my pants up when I wear them. They were my favorite until I found the riding jean. | |

Location: South of Canada and North of Mexico | I just gave up my CGT jeans after YEARS of wearing them, the fits have changed and now they start out TIGHT and before to long are sagging on my butt and falling down. ICK! I tried on R&R jeans at the NFR and bought 3 pairs and since being home have bought another 3 pairs. I ended up buying the boyfriend fit, the midrise I had to go up 3 sizes, they sit a bit lower than the boyfriend fit and seems to be a little more room in the calf area. I have butt and thighs and found the boyfriend to fit the best. | |

IMO, the midrise fits a gal with booty and thighs but also has a waist. The boyfriend fits the gal that may have a slightly larger waist to hip ratio, if that makes sense. The boyfriend fit doesn't fit me well because to fit my thighs the waist is too big. I work at a western store and when guys come in looking for a gift and tell me their wife/gf has a booty, I sell them a pair of midrise RRCG, and I can honestly say I have never had a return. Size exchange? Of course a couple, but they always stick with the fit.
My boss isn't a big lady but has smaller legs and booty and a fuller waist. The boyfriend fit flatters her where the midrise is too snug in the waist.
I typically wear the same size in CT and the midrise.
What I tell all my customers... Wash inside out cold water and HANG DRY. Your jeans will last forever!! Warm/hot water and the dryer melts the glue on the rinestones and wears out the denim. I had a lady come in one day wearing the same style of RRCG jeans had on that day. She complained that they just didn't last and hers used to look brand new like mine. Mine ended up being older... I also don't wash them unless they're dirty. If I went to work, school, shopping, anything outside of the barn-they don't get washed. Once they get to the point the NEED a washing, I wear them to a rodeo then wash em. Same thing with a bra-it gets washed when I sweat in it, otherwise I wear it a while, they last forever ladies!

shoot, now I wish I would have waited to order until after reading this. I have like you described a booty and thighs and smaller waist. So the boyfriend probably won't work.... well at least I can try them since its too late to cancel the order... sounds like i need the midrise and need to try the riding jean. I do notice that hanging them to dry does help save the denim. Seems like the dryer is pretty hard on clothes. I just get impatient waiting for them to dry  | |

| I ordered the riding jean and the boyfriend jean, those were on sale. I could not find any of the mid rise on sale to buy to try. I will keep looking...
So the boyfriend jean doesn't work for me at all. It looked like it would but nope. They fit in the legs but too bulky in the hips waist area. There was strange bunching near the zipper, maybe because the rise was too high for me?? I'm not sure but, it looked really weird lol! So I returned those.
The Riding Jean is awesome!! relaxed in the legs and hips enough for my "athletic" legs and booty! and fits in the waist very nicely. the front rise I would consider low not mid. The back rise is ok, could stand it to be a little higher but I like the fit everywhere else so I'm keeping these!! They seem pretty comarable to the cowgirl tuff jeans, maybe a little heavier denim.
