Does anyone else find that their horse suffers from 'pretty pony' syndrome? I know, it sounds dumb, but I'm pretty sure my big guy loves to be all dressed up at a big race! It's like he knows that he is looking classy, and he walks around like he owns the place. Especially if he is in white, oh man you better watch out because he things he's the man when he's in white. Just curious if I'm the only one with a horse like this...

My horse thinks he's the man no matter what! Even though he's a gelding I swear he knows when mares are around and he struts his stuff big time!! I sometimes have to 'check' to make sure he's not still a stallion. Lol! He definit

We have a mare who is to smart to run poles and barrels. SHE is a COWHORSE, thank you very much. I swear that is how she thinks, lol. I absolutely love this mare.

My gelding is like this. At the big races when the crowd really cheers for someone ahead of us he gets really pumped up and will even act naughty in the holding pen. At a local barrel race he's falling asleep while we wait our turn. Luckily either way he still runs a nice pattern, just faster at the big races.

My gelding is a clean freak! He never ever rolls unless the ground is spotless, or has shavings. He never leaves his barn if there is mud, and he LOVES to be brushed or have a bath. When he is spotless, he sure struts his stuff! I took him to a all around show and he seriously thought he was a halter horse! He is my barrel horse but when he stepped into that arena everyone thought he was %100 halter horse. Neck stretched out, he set himself up, and perked his ears the whole time! And I am positive that was the first time he had been showed in halter! They're so funny!

A barrel horse of mine LOVES LOVES LOVES to be pampered. We also have a Arab Paint gelding that has a super thick mane and when his owner comes and brushes it out he runs around and flips his mane. It's pretty funny. We call him Fabio.

Unfortunately, not yet! My horses are the biggest pigs you have ever seen...they will find the biggest mud puddle and roll in it. My mare particularly so, she doesn't try to show off unless she is in heat and there is male horse (not even a stud!) around. My gelding I don't really know yet as he has his ears up most of the time.
