They Don't Know Me Posts: 3299 Location: Bastrop, TX	Yes I did for a year while on a job in Memphis. It consisted of a very small fridge, microwave and coffee pot. Every day when they cleaned the room they left a package of coffee, creamer and sugar and kept the ice trays filled if I didnt. Not much to a kitchenette. Extended Stay Americas have full kitchens with all dishes pots and utensils included. Pricier but they are nice. Edited by bobbyjosocks 2015-01-16 5:44 PM

Warmblood with Wings Posts: 27846 Location: Florida..	with kids they come In handy.. you can keep drinks and milk and food in small fridge and can heat and cook on stove top.you bring your own food and dont have to eat out all the time with the kids.

Married to a Louie Lover Posts: 3303	I've stayed In a couple. We stayed in an extended stay when we first moved here for a week before our apt was open. It was essentially a small studio apt with a stove and full fridge. I don't think pans etc were included because I remeber silly advertisements in the elevators for a $20 set of pot pan plates and utensils. I've also stayed in a couple Homewood Suites ($150-200/night, thankfully on works tab) that had full kitchenettes and they were stocked with pans etc, house cleaning even did the dishes.

Their rooms have a kitchen with stove/oven, sink, microwave and refrigerator and are stocked with usually a 4 place setting of dinnerware and also have minimal cookware. I've stayed in one several times when attending week-long shows and it certainly helped with my food costs since I was able to have breakfast there -- and lunch most days and dinner several times. One year when I was trying to come down with a cold I was able to stock up on chicken noodle soup and get over / stop it. It was nice to have a "home base" that offered a home-like quality.
