Just wondered what your opinions are on a Kiefer Built living quarters trailer.
I have two friends who have them and like them, but they don't haul much, so I wonder how they hold up.
Any opinions?

There's a trailer out there for everyone, it just depends what you need, what you want, and what fits in your budget. Good or bad really depends on how the trailer has been cared for, what is important to you in a trailer, and how much you haul. Everyone will have an opinion on what the best trailer is based on their experience, but it may have nothing to do with construction or materials used to build the trailer. Do you have a dealer near you where you can go and compare trailers?

No way. No how! I have pieces and panels of a KB LQ trailer stacked out here next to a shed. It was involved in a massive accident. The panels on the trailer are not riveted together, but stuck together with epoxy. The LQ section actually pulled loose from the horse compartment of the trailer, which in this case, was a bit of a blessing, but scary, nonetheless.

I have a 2002 Kiefer 2 horse slant load and love it. It pulls easily and it has held up very well. I've it for about 5 years now. I really like it.

If you're a weekend warrior, it will probably do you just fine.
If you haul hard and long distances, I would keep looking.
