Location: At the race track with Ah Dee Ohs | My hubby's employers go on cruises all the time. They have spotty cell service. While at sea, they have no service at all. You should check with the cruise line/travel agent and see what is offered if anything. |

Location: Fairfield, IA | we went on a cruise about a year ago; cell phone and internet service was almost non-existant, unless you got lucky at a port.
You can buy wi-fi packages, but they are very expensive

Location: USA | Everytime I've been on a cruise, I've had service.
FYI, if you call your provider, they can put you on an international plan so you will not be paying such high prices. ONce you are off the cruise, you can always call them and have it taken off. When I call, we go through each port and what it would cost with the plan and without. Yeah, call your cell provider. You will be thankful you did |

| Ship to shore calls will be your best bet. They are around a $1.99 per minute. This is way cheaper than using your cell phone. Do not turn on your cell phone unless you are prepared to pay! |

Location: Central Montana | We've been on several.......I turn my cell phone off when I get on the ship and lock it in the safe and don't turn it back on again until I'm off the ship. I only have domestic service so sometimes it doesn't get turned on until I'm ready to go back home.
We usually travel with a group and we tell people what are plans are for the day, so, it isn't hard to make the rounds and see who is where at what time. |
