This is the up and coming trend and I'm behind. Enlighten me. The adverts say "enhance" not "may enhance" performance. Aren't performance enhancers illegal on the track? What are the short-term and long-term side effects? Is this medical or herbal? I'm assuming that bronchials are being dialated, but that might not be the case.

I've been using the Silver Horse Care system.
I have a bleeder.  We believe he bleeds due to irritation in his airway and lungs from allergies.  All I use is the silver and MSM.
It lubricates the airway allowing it to heal.  Silver will also help if there's an infection.  My horse is so much better.
You can use alot of different drugs.  My vet didn't feel we needed anything but the silver.
You can use antibiotics or dilators.
They have definitely enhanced my horses entire well being. So his performance is much better.
I have also used it on myself with the silver.  It has really helped my allergies.

It does take time to see improvement in a horse with problems like mine.  You have to stick with it.
It is definately worth it.

I have been doing a little research on this as well.  I have a colt that we suspect is bleeding in and are giving him a few weeks off.  He's always had a dust related cough, but it's usually worse in the summer when it's dry.  We started him back on Lung Aid, which has seemed to help before, and I know he's also getting Equi Resp treatments.  I have a friend that has an Equi Resp system and she mentioned she is looking into the Flexineb, as the Equi Resp requires and outlet to run the compressor, but the Flexineb doesn't.  Does anyone have experience with the Flexineb?

Also, what is Equine Regen Plus?  My mom sent me a post made by Tana Poppino about this.  I assume it's a supplement but i'm unable to find much info on it.

the equi-resp product itself is an antimicrobial silver... so it's not a real drug. silver has antimicrobial and anti fungal properties and the nebulizing helps clean out their airways. It's NOWHERE near the same as giving a bronchodilator like clenbuterol. However, you don't have to use the equi-resp silver in the nebulizer... we nebulize with an RX drug from our vet for our horse with inflammatory airway disease, then follow up with the equi-resp silver.

It's not herbal, but its not prescription and its not a drug.. it's like how people take colloidal silver but the size of the molecule is smaller so it can be nebulized.

If your product is not a drug, you cannot make claims saying it will cure, fix, etc. any disease or issue. Enhance is only one of the "legal" words that can be said so they are not making a claim. Just wanted to clarify that otherwise I know nothing about the product.
