I know there are several kinds: PHT, BOT, magnacu, ect but what temps do you think is OK to have these products on your horse? We are going to be comin up on spring and summer and I was wondering the other day- at what point can my mare not wear her BOT?

I won't use my BOT if it's over 70. Too hot. My PHT I will use all year long because it's mesh it's cooler. Now I don't leave them out in the sun with it but in stall it's cool enuf.

PHT and MagnaCu are safe to leave on in the direct Sun any time of year.  Also works great under a winter blanket as well

Just the products in general question then~ Living in the south, at what temp would you NOT use the BOT quick wraps/running boots?

I really wouldn't use them, especially on the legs, over 60 or 70 degrees. I do like BOT's and they do have their place, but getting the tendons too hot is so very dangerous. Since PHT isn't heat based I would use those when it's hot out.
