The complaints I have heard about them is mostly how sensitive they are and really easy to blow up.  Plus Lanes Leinster sons are not great producers...if they were there would be more of them.  One exception to that here in Utah is The Goodbye Lane.  I've never been around one, but I'm hearing good things about him.  The Bert's suposedly bred a bunch of mares to him last year, if that tells you anythings.

I had a gelding years ago by LL I bought off the track.  He was crippled when I got him and didn't end up getting sound to compete but he was smart and easy to train.  Now I have a six year old by dtf out of a LL daughter.  He lost his brain as a futurity horse and then I bought him as a four year old.  We have just been easing him along and he is doing great.  He is pretty much ready to rock and roll.  I would buy ten more if I could
