Haven't made it that far into it, but charymayne mentioned that she had good hands during the NFR.... That ought to be worth something! Haha |

Fallon says that she won't run any of her horses in them, because when you don't, they learn where to put their feet and not step on themselves, plus makes them more surefooted.
I'm not gonna risk it, but hey, whatever works for you. |

Especially on the CRAP ground they have to run on there at the NFR. |

I agree with this premise when you are starting a young horse. I had a young horse that was tripping etc. I went to an Ed Wright clinic and he told me to take them off as after she would hit herself so many times she would learn where to put her feet. It worked but once she was finished and running I would ride her without and put them on when I ran her. |

I agree. What would have been said.."The former world champion had one of the worst NFR's ever since making it back in the late 1990's." |

We only put them on for a run or an extremely hard work when one is getting tuned on. They do learn where to put their feet this way. |

Yep, no sense beating her when she is down. I am sure Sherry realizes it and will do whatever needs to be done to correct it. |
