Someone else on this thread suggested it. It's only been 2 days but I like it. Keeps me aware of what/how much I am eating. Yep!! I don't kill myself if I go over my daily limit by 100 calories, but it does make me more aware. Yesterday I was about to eat a slice of peanut butter pie I had in the freezer.... until I found out it was 600 calories!! I had 400 left for the day and hadn't had dinner, so I had to will power to say that it wasn't worth it! Good luck!! This is my 3rd time of trying to actively do it.... I always see results, it just gets tedious to enter every little thing. Thanks! It's a struggle trying to only eat 1200 calories a day when you LOVE food! Fulltiefilly is that 1200 a day account for exercise done too?
Mine tracks the steps I take and whatever cardio I log and it adds it into my alloted calories for the day. |

Longneck I assume your using myfitnesspal, which I know adds your exercise calories (when you enter them) to your daily total....good deal! |

Location: Texas | I have also struggled with this then one day I said enough is enough. I got the book Whole30 and started a diet plan. I hate breakfast so I drink a Lean 7 shake for breakfast. It keeps me full all morning. I eat almonds for a snack between breakfast and lunch and between lunch and dinner. I work out of my truck so this is best for me. At lunch I eat protein, veggies, and fruit and dinner only a protein and veggie. Then I normally do boiled egg whites for my late snack. In a week I dropped a pant size. You have to get to that point you are ready to change and do it. Make it a lifestyle. When I am out of shape and carry extra pounds it affects my life and my horses performance. You can do this. |

HorsesNHarleys - 2015-02-09 5:50 AM If anyone has some meal plan ideas or health meal recipes they would like to share I would love to hear them.Β Quick, easy and healthy is what I need!!! Β
Β What foods do you like? What veggies, meats, fruits etc? Do you like wraps? Eggs?Β
I like most all foods. I prefer to have hot meals with a meat.... but I like wraps and salads too sometimes. I have a big appetite I always have. |

Now chase it. I have a better idea... Go buy a full length mirror... Put it in your bedroom, so the first thing you see when you get out of bed every day is Yourself... If you're happy with that, so be it. Lord, Komet, if I did that I would NEVER get out of bed! I would be to afraid of the monster in the mirror! Hey.. I'm old, male and ugly... I only had to buy one mirror... it shattered long ago...
Hey now....if anyone ties a donut or a monster to a string....I'm gonna chase it LMAO!!!! |

Location: Lewisburg, Tennessee | This may sound silly.....but my horse motivates me to get fit. I figure if I'm out there riding and conditioning him 3-4 times per week, it's only fair that I do the same - we are a team and if I'm slacking off and not watching what I'm eating or excercising then my balance and timing get off. |

| I just got this program called 21 Day Fix from Beachbody. Im on day 18 and its been really good. The program comes with food containers, protein powder (Shakeology), food lists, and 2 workout DVDs.......30 minute workouts everyday. I have been getting up half hour earlier and getting it done before work and it just makes you have a better day. |

Location: California | My husband and I are going to try to have a baby this year, and I want to get to a better spot weight and health wise BEFORE I get pregnant. That is very motivating for me!
Also, I got a Fitbit Flex and all of the girls in the office have a Fitbit as well. We do the daily and weekly challenges on there and it really gets me up and moving as I don't want to lose. I also track my water intake on the Fitbit app which has made me so much more aware of getting enough water during the day.
I also have been walking at lunch. I only have a half an hour lunch, but by the time I drive to the park, change into my tennis shoes, and get walking, I get in a good one and half mile walk at a good pace. If you are like me, when you get home sometimes you just don't want to do anything, so walking at lunch gets it out of the way for me.
The other benefit of walking at lunch is that I don't have time to go grab fast food. So I end up packing a lunch which will always be healthier than Taco Bell or McDonald's. |

I've seen the infomercial. It makes sense. Is it easy for you to get everything together? |

Location: SE Missouri | I am on a serious lifestyle change journey! I just completed round one of Chirothin and literally your 42 days turns your world upside bc you have to focus on ever bite that goes in your mouth! I lost 18# and 11.5 inches in 43 days. Lots of water, Lean protein, fresh veggies (low glycemic index only..) and fruits (not all are allowed).. No grains no dairy no sodas no processed food (basically nothing white beside cauliflower lol) It really hit me hard when I hit a wall and work stress got the best of me! You learn where you sabotage yourself and that it really doesn't take long to fix a meal! I work on the rod constantly and that will always be a tough obstacle but I will get to where I should be. I finally feel like I have the tools to do so!
You check in by text every morning, there is a private Facebook pge, and you do a face to face check in also! I Feel great.. |
