I went to an "estate sale" today. Three studs, possibly four 'cause no one can get close enough to tell, being held in rinky-dink pastures behind a strand or two of old barbed wire. One mare with a filly on her died last week. Two pretty mares with who knows what history were there. Nothing has papers. No one knows anything about the breeding or handling of these horses. Around 20 donkeys that need homes. Four highly trained GS that guard the old girls'home. Sad place. I was just sick over the animals until I found out what happened to the girls that stayed there. Such evil.

How in the world did they operate for so long? That's crazy. My heart hurts for the kids that were there.

I saw an ad this morning for a "free stud"....then the guy said $75 to pay for his feed. 5 year old stud, grade, been running with mares...never been broke....I hate saying this...but he needs to go to the kill buyer.
A lady commented that she was wanting him for her grandbaby.......ignorance.
