I'd like to know your experience with the mesh blanket. When do you use it, how long, how often and have you seen any results. Thanks!

People have had mixed results with them, check the "Product Research" forum and you'll find TONS of info with the Back on Track Products.

Right now a friend is using it for her own back. I used it before riding because my saddle didn't fit him well. It helped until I got a well fitted saddle. Haven't used it lately but my friend loves it, she sleeps in it at night.

BOT has saved me a few times when I've mixed up draw numbers and saddled later than I wanted. My 22 year old is the perfect example. He wore the BOT mesh sheet & neck cover from 8:30 a.m. until about 3 p.m. yesterday when I checked the draw and discovered he was #62 not #81. They were doing the big drag at 50 when I found out he was 12 away. He'd had the BOT stuff off for about 10 minutes when I came sprinting back to the trailer to throw a saddle & boots on him. This is a horse who normally needs 5 minutes of walking & trotting before he's loose enough to run but he trotted right off to start our warm up and made a great run. I swear he was already loose, relaxed and halfway warm from having the BOT products on all day. Same sort of story with my gray horse. He was #96 and I saddled him after watching Matt run at #76 so he didn't get a very lengthy warm up either. Chance usually walks off a little stiff to start our warmup but not yesterday. He felt GREAT from the first step. I am a serious believer in BOT for him and Joker
(the old man
).
I have 2 sheets & 1 neck cover and rotate them between 3 horses. If I am hauling any of those 3, they have a sheet on. I figure the ceramic therapy is good for just general maintenance. I'm using them on 2 13 year olds and my 22 year old. I generally pull the sheets a few minutes before saddling to warm up. My horses will usually wear the sheets for 3-4 hours at a time, 1-3 days per week depending on how much we're hauling.
