Location: Missouri | I'm hoping to order a new saddle in the next six months or so and needing opinions on Triple Creek Saddles? They're BEAUTIFUL, but I don't know anyone around here that actually rides in one. My mare is appendix bred and has high withers, and I feel like I have a hard time finding a saddle that truly fits her correctly.
TIA! |

I have one, unfortunately it doesn't fit my barrel mare. I bought it used and thought it had fqhb, but turns out they are regular bars. It does fit my walking horse who has high withers and is a LOT narrower. It's comfortable to sit in and the leather is nice and soft! I really wished it fit the horse I needed it to! |

Location: Southern Oregon | I was extremely excited about the idea of owning a triple creek barrel saddle. I was up riding with some of my friends. She happened to have a triple creek reining or trail saddle she was excited about. Offered to let me try it on my horse, it was said to have full bars. It was gorgeous. Then I put it on my horse and it fit her horribly! I wanted to cry. lol |

| Comfy to ride In, didn't fit my horse worth a darn. He has a pretty good wither and a flatter back.

You just need to figure out what tree you need. Call Heidi. Her number is on the website and she knows these saddles inside out. |

Location: Missouri | Thanks all! I'm thinking I'll either go with a new Triple Creek or a used Slone Saddle. I've ridden in a Slone before and really liked it...but they're a little more out of my price range....worth the money I'm sure! It's just a matter of finding what that fits the horse.
How is the seat for the rider? I'd like to be able to get up over the horse quickly inbetween barrels. |

It sat me centered and I was able to sit deep for the turn and able to get up over the horse. |

Location: Where you need a paddle... Oregon! | I like mine. It's narrow in the twist which is how I like it. I have no problems getting up out of it. The fenders have a lot of play so I can move my legs freely. It just doesn't get in my way, if that makes sense. |

Location: Oklahoma | I love my triple creek. As Lady said, the narrow twist is my favorite feature. It sits you centered like a dressage saddle. I've always felt balanced and have had no issue getting up out of the saddle. The fenders move easily too. If you're near OKC I'll let you try mine |
