| cavyrunsbarrels - 2015-04-04 12:00 PM I think I like this one even better. I need to rally some more North Dakota people!
I kinda of like that one too, and they're much cheaper because I found the decals on seperate sites. I have a couple places in mind, but it looks like the trail ride will be some where in arkansas near Texas.
Also, ya'll can invite anyone =) not necessarily BHW ppl only, it's a meet and greet. I'm bringing my brother and probably a few friends. So we can all cut the hauling costs. I'm thinking a month out, a weekend in May? Once I get a few locations in mind I'll post a poll and we can all vote. The most votes will be the location and then I'll setup a way to "RSVP" So I know how many shirts to order and we can determine how much everyon needs to bring. Any additonal money will be donated to whatever organization we come up with that we would like to donate too!
I'm excited. I kind of like this event planning stuff.

A to Z Guest Ranch in (I think!!!!) Smith OK is nice---have hookups and cabins. Plus owner is a gourmet chef that prepares meals for guests if anyone wants that. We went and loved it.
And I vote for the second shirt!

We can have a Texans only trail ride, prior to the other, so we can get our horses legged up and ready! Lol ^ That was a joke.  Keep in mind May is a busy month for some... graduations, end of school year moving, Mother's Day and Memorial Day....

Hmm oh yea. Forgot about all those. I'll poll some dates and see what we come up with. I'll posted 5 dates and whatever is voted the most is the date we'll choose. Thanks for bringing that up.

I lo0ked into that ranch. Thats kind of pricey considering you pay for hookups/camping spots plus the trai rides are pretty steep. I figure after everyones spent the gas hauling, the less they spend at the location the better. Going to try and find something with corrals/stalls available if you want them, but regular set up spots for ppl who are just going to use their trail and maybe mobile pens for their horses.
What are ya'll opinions on this one? It looks affordable, with several good trails to chose from, places to set up, shower accesses and picket/pens. Looks affordable. It's a little more north than I was looking for. But the closer to texas i look they're either pricey or they "trail rides" are pretty much around the farm rides. Lol

Depending on the time of year, I think it would be a great place! I've been in that area a couple of times, the fall is too rainy, and the summer to hot/humid, but about this time of the year ought to be about right! JMO, to any of those who live there. I'm from Montana and it is dry here most of the time so any humidity seems like a lot, LOL. The country there is fairly hilly with quite a few trees too.

Didn't remember A to Z being that costly, maybe they went up since we were there! The thing with north AR is most places are gonna have steep hills, cliffs, etc. But they usually have trails of all levels. And once you get past May it's hot (and humid!!!) as can be. We tried to stay at Cowboy Up last year but could never get a reservation, so I can't offer my opinion there.
