| This is me, your political roving reporter letting you folks know early, that Rand Paul will be announcing his bid for the Presidency as soon as today, but expected by mid-week.
What are your thoughts on Rand? He's billed as a TEA party favorite, but as a self proclaimed TEA girl myself, he's not mine. However, far better than some that will soon be jumping in. |

Cruz is less electable in the general election but predict he will be favored in the primaries. It's a good move for Hillary's camp. |

| As we get deeper into these announcements, more civil issues regarding religion/guns/immigration/voter issues etc will begin to resurface taking up media space. Watch and see. Its their M.O.

He can "step in it" from time to time. One example was about a month ago when he shot his mouth off over vaccines...before his brain was turned on. |

So you mean just like every election cycle for the last 20-30 years?

| I've actually been really liking Carson. With the exception of his misguided "Inmate homosexual" comparison, he is a pretty decent guy with decent ideas. |

No executive experience. Weak on foreign policy. Like his father he will pick up a lot of the young voters under 40 but they don't vote in primary's. He may pickup some swing voters but not enough. The Dem's already have the advantage in the electoral college they only need three swing states. The Rep's need to carry all their states pulse seven swing states. Rand just doesn't have it in my opinion. Right now I only see Cruz and Paul fighting over the same TEA party votes. But it's just the beginning of the horse race so we will see. |

He's made anti second amendment statements and is hunky dory with illegal alien invaders. |
