Total Germophobe Posts: 6443 Location: Montana	What do you prefer, if not using a wool saddle pad, fleece bottomed or felt bottomed? I've only had fleece (or faux fleece) but is there a benefit to one or the other? Thanks!

Expert Posts: 1611 Location: bring on the heat, NV	I usually use felt. I just got a classic equine that has a wool blanket on top, 7/8 felt inside and 28 oz fleece on the bottom.. One it keeps the pads clean and the other I can throw it in the washer and keep from getting fungus backs.
