One of the many things I need to work on. Mine are always WAY too high during my runs.

Any tips/suggestions/drills that will help me improve this?

Thanks!

look up CRKtraining on Youtube. She has some very helpful videos for beginners, refreshers and reminders for all level of riders. =) I use her vids a lot to help me remember some of the things my horse does occassionally that I dont take notice of. And hand placement.

I think it is kind of a muscle memory thing. I'm curious of some tips to help though. I've always had really low headed horses for the most part so I have low hands, but my 6yr old son could use some help.

Agreed about the muscle memory. Hard getting to that point tho!

When you say your hands are "high", what direction of "high" do you mean?? High as in pulling up toward your shoulder/head, or high as in far up your horse's neck?
