Location: Greencastle PA | I havea 3 year old gelding, he is having discharge from his butt. He is eating drinking and does not have diarrhea???? I have power packed him I have cut back his grain , I don't know what else to do . He has no fever.
Any help would be apperacited.

Location: Greencastle PA | Hello, Sorry I have had the vet look at him this morning , she said to power pack him I have done that, now she is saying to get him on probios so I'm going to do that also. I have been around horses my hole life and I have never seen this before. He is not acting funny at all and we ride every other day. Just thought I would ask folks if they ever delt with this.

| What color is the discharge? Have you seen it come out? I know its gross, but try and collect some of it and give it a good smell! If it smells rancid that is a sign of infection. |

If you can collect some of it, see what the vet can do with it... Must be some tests he can run it through... |
