So did she ask you questions in advance then answer later or was everything discussed in one phone call? Just curious :)

I have used Kathy George and she did not ask any questions before my appointment call. I am not on facebook so she couldn't get any prior info on me or my horse. I felt she pretty much nailed my horse's personality and it was pretty useful info she gave me.

See that is a very vague answer for me. I have known a lot of people for a long time. Especially with as small as our school district was. I know about 400 people that are in my age group lol. Answers like that make me even more skeptical then I already am.

If I ever do call one, I want answers... not something that I can turn into an answer after a few years and me trying to turn it into an answer.

How do they do it? They are excellent scammers. First, you have to call them. Why wouldn't they call you if they know you want to talk to them?

Second, they won't do a reading on the spot if you call them. They haveΒ to schedule a reading but only after you give them info. Why do you have to give them info? Shouldn't they already know this? Why not a reading on the spot if they don't need to track down downΒ info for the scam?

Third, they are simply crooks and charlatans waiting for an easy mark. Of course they already knew I was going to post this. Being physic and all.Β

I have to say, I have had Kathy do readings for me in person and she has always been happy to do them right then. Like, I saw her at Colonials, just walking by the warm up and said Hi, then said that when she had the opportunity, I wanted her to talk to one for me. She did it right then. It was a training horse, so not one of mine that she knows already and she gave me a very accurate reading.

ETA: The only question she asked me, ever was the horse's name.

I just spoke with Kathy this morning.  She was spot on as usual with may girls...   It is funny how she sees the personalities .  She called my 25 yr old mare Salty.  She is a tough mare with lots of grit.   I have used Kathy a few times, always like the results.  She only ask for gender, age and color from me.   We also talked to one of my older Aussies today.  Good luck....

Thanks all. Trying to decide if I want to try this....even if for kicks and grins. Although I do have legitimate questions about my horse. I wish she just spoke English...lol

One of my horses was having a first barrel issue. It was getting so bad that he eventually started stopping on the back side and tried to flip over. Multiple vet trips, lessons and training and not a single answer as to why. I finally made the for sale ad and it broke my heart. It was then one of my friends suggested I give Toni Trimble a call. It was my last resort for this horse. She asked for his name and color. That was it. She was so spot on for absolutely everything. She described his injury to a T from his futurity year (SI) and stated that my new shoer had his angles wrong so it was irritating everything and causing his pelvis to be sore. I brought him in the next week for x-rays, sure enough he had negative plantar angles. We injected his SI, got his feet on the correct path and my happy horse is back. She was very helpful and I really wouldn't hesitate to do it again. She also does free update calls.

What was fun was the "input" from the horse. We always joke that he is the pretty boy jock at the barn. Sure enough the stuff she was saying about him was so spot on with his barn reputation.

Common Sense and then some

Another recommendation for Kathy George.  She nailed both of my mares personalities to a T, told me an an affectionate saying that I used with one mare, and helped me figure out a difficult to diagnosis issue with the other.  Several years of vet visits and tests, a good chunck of $, hadn't figured it out.  She just said things that made sense and sent me searching in the right area, and the issue was resolved.   Best $30 I ever spent!
