I'm not familiar with this bloodline, but I'm looking at one for sale.  What can anybody tell me about them?

My husband roped off of this big black gelding for years and years.  He was a pussycat on the ground but all business when it came to roping or working.  Nice old foundation line IMO, not necessarily know for speed, but great bone and have good heads on them.

They are known to be dang good ranch horses, as well as roping horses. A gal I know breeds blackburns, babies always have a big hip and pretty head. Smart, quirky, and honest work ethic

I have a double bred blackburn.  She can be quirky, but as long as you don't pick on her she has a great work ethic.  Super nice stop and a tank.  She is coming along nicely on barrels.

My ol girl has some Blackburn back there, and  she is a nice stout mare.  she had some ground issues and a few quirks.   but she is a good honest riding horse, will plow through anything on the trail.   She has some speed too!!!   She only really taps into it in a horse on horse race, not really in the arena though.....   One of her quirks....  hahahaha   I love her though.

We have one. He is a super handy, smart horse. Quirky in the sense he is shy to approach. He rides great though!
