However what I really didnt like about him the most is he's a trashy mover and paddles something terrible. http://www.ehorsehotline.com/ClassifiedDetail.aspx?AdID=22442&user=499 |

Location: Oklahoma | I would go with the PFF because of the Future Fortunes incentives... that's gonna help with your resale and YOU if he's gets going nicely and you want to compete on him for yourself! |

A lot of FWF horses have more knee and hock action than what I consider desirable, but they seem to clock anyway. |

Location: Oklahoma | I know this is not what you asked, but quite honestly, I've been buying and selling horses for 40 years, and a sale like this is usually not the place to buy a prospect. I have not had very good luck with sale horses. Through the years I've found that they are usually at a sale for a reason (not always....but a lot of the time) and the really nice ones usually go for more than I want to pay and the mediocre ones often go for more than they would if sold other ways. I've had a lot better luck just buying from individuals because then I can ask all the questions I want, ride the horse if I want, and make a more informed decision. JMO
Edited to add: The only one I'd be interested in on bloodlines was the PFF horse, but after watching the video, he wouldn't be what I'd want unless I could get him REALLY cheap, and I doubt he'll go that cheap. He's just not broke enough for what I want to put on the barrels.....although I've owned a PFF and they ARE athletes. I don't like how badly he paddles, but Seabiscuit paddled, also, and look what he did. ;)

Ya that's a perfect example of "you can't ride the papers." Wow that's bad. |

Location: home for the winter...what a dumb idea | It really depends on what stile of rider you are......I personally would go with #2 . #1 has to much Hollywood Dun it they look great and are almost always a nice color but from my expericne they lack heart. Pocos are imo hot headed and very sensitive . well worth it if you can get along with them |

Hungarian Midget Woman
Location: Midwest | ThreeCorners - 2015-05-04 10:39 PM My husband used to own Smart Lil Whiz. That is a colt who fell through the crack due to no fault of his own.We sold him as a just turning 2 , and ended up reposessing him winter of his 3 yr old year. He should have went to the snaffle bit futurity, he was that talented. My husband still regrets selling that colt.
I came back to add. I just typed his name into google and watched a video. Looks like they had the kids riding him and he came dull and unbroke but I dont doubt the talent he had, he was born with and is still there underneith it all.
He is the one I like the best, based on the papers. |

I took it as she wanted one to run barrels plus other western events, so I guess it depends on what she's looking for most |

| Of these, I'd go #1. Not really a fan of PFF, especially with that bottom side. If it had a running bottom, I'd probably like it more, but PFF just doesn't sit high on my list. |

| I have a daughter of Dun It With A Whiz she is also double bred Poco Bueno on the bottom side. She is as wide as she is tall and a true athlete with grit. She was a solid 1D horse and could stand up on any ground. My parents raised some Poco Bueno bred horses and I used them for everything all the ones we had were very user friendly and I used them in every event you can think of. My mare is a bit of a nut but really think that came from the reining trainer she was with before. |

| Ha! none of the ones listed turned out to be what we were looking for, ended up with two unregistered horses from a ranch in Montana! |

I have to agree...I don't like the way he travels either. |
