What is the best kind? My horse can sit his chin on anything and do it. It drives me crazy and I think it is causing him to lose weight. Any suggestions?

The bit man makes a 2 inch nylon worked tye best for me. Although, maybe try some omeprizole compounded for several weeks the cribbing may ease up.

Treat for ulcers.

I bought a cribber. He's been on GastroPLUS 32 days. Big improvement! He was underweight when I got him in here too. He's putting the weight back on and eating really well now. Cribbing has decreased also.

BEWARE using anything neoprene - I had one on my horse and it rained overnight - it was warm, in the summer, and when I took it off, his hide came right with it - this happened in ONE night - I know others who have had the same thing happen.

I had the neoprene collar and it absolutely took the hair and hide right off our horse. No way will anything neoprene ever go on one of our horses again.

Our horse is horrible cribber. This is the ONLY one that works for him. Doesn't look like much but they work and last.

All American Tack is the only one I will buy for my mare, she is white with sensitive skin and has no trouble wearing it 24/7.
