Be warned that Wintecs have flat trees so if your horse has any curve to it's back, they probably won't fit. Thorowgood is usually considered to be a better synthetic brand, but you'd have to try and find a brown one. You could use the synthetic but for showing at any level, leather, even well used, is better than synthetic. My favorite online places for english stuff are smartpak, dover, and some others.
wintecs fit all our youngsters just fine.we switched out gullets and they caused no issues..

FlyingHigh1454 - 2015-05-14 9:58 AM I show all around, so my BIG mare is shown in everything, and of all events other than speed, she does best in hunter under saddle
(never figured out why, but she has beautiful english movement
). I use a Crosby saddle that I bought for $100 at Hoosier Horse Fair about 6 years ago. It's fantastic, awesome brand and fits her great. DO NOT get tall boots that are not zipper in the back. You will hate yourself forever. Go a bit more expensive for the zipper types because they are so easy to put on. The slide on's are the devil.
I stayed on ebay for a week watching the tall boot auctions and snagged a new with tags pair of Ariats for $100. They just didn't fit the girl.
