Location: Texas | Soo.. I'm a little behind..This colt was born around noon April 8th 2015. His dam snuck him in when my foal watcher left for an hour. Figures! And of course since he's been born it has not stopped raining.. these pictures are from a few weeks ago when we finally had a Little bit of sunshine. Awaiting his arrival has been nervewrecking. Last year my quarter mare aborted twins at 9.5 months, they didn't show up on the ultrasound. As a result I also lost use of my QH mare as a broodmare due to her uterus dropping, vault pulling back, and urine pooling. HUGE loss for me my first year breeding. Thankfully the breeder allowed me to use my breeding with a different mare. I played the odds breeding a paint mare to a quarter stallion. 11 months later... I got exactly what I wanted. Four whites, minimal body spots, and healthy!

love the color just enough to make him flashy!!
Thanks. While I love my paints, I like my minimal body spots with white legs. We do a lot of all around showing so scrubbing white is not something I enjoy at 6am. |
