Location: Northwest | I just got a nicely bred 2 year old in a trade. Super impressed with her in every way except her size-she seems really small for a 2 year old. What are you feeding yours? Right now she is getting 50/50 grass/alfalfa but I am wondering if I should add grain/supplements. |

| Mine is 15-1. I feed a 14% pellet that is $12 a sack. I would feed her Platinum but she goes to the trainer next week and I did not want her to be too energetic. She gets a little salt in her feed in the evening. With all the rain we have had she has plenty of grass. |

Location: Texas | Mine is a June 1 colt and 14.3 now, but string tests to 15.2. He is stall bound unfortunately due to a horrible abscess (for a month! did I mention I hate this rain?). He eats like a teenage boy and is NOT fat (not ribby either, but I think he needs some muscle development). Unlimited high quality coastal, 1 big flake of alfalfa, ~5# rolled oats+ ~5# 14/8 pelleted feed, some ulcer prevention & probiotics (aloe Vera, Fasttrack, etc), handful of wheat bran. Can't wait to turn him out (his foot is better, it's just still a little soft in the abscess area & monsoon season in Tx rages on!) he is growing fast. |

Location: South | My 2 year old ( turned two 2/28/15) is easily 15.2 and still growing. I have her on Strategy once a day with free choice grass. She is very muscled up, and in great shape. However her half sister is 14 hands on her Tallest days and on the same feed as well.

Sometimes horses like this are late bloomers. You go out there and it seems they have grown a couple of inches. Make sure that it is getting quality feed and Platinum Performance contains amino acids which are essential for growth. |
