I have an older mare that doesn't like IM injections.  But she doesn't seem to do bad for coggins or when a vet has to sedate her for a procedure....  Which got me wondering if there is an IV injectable joint supplement?

NexHA

Nex HA works great. But lasts just like Legend. 48 hours tops.

Really?  I saw the other threads on Pentosan and it sounded really good but figured it was like adaquan and ICHON and needed to be IM.

Polyglycan is IM or IV.  Gal at my barn is using it and is seeing some improvement but was expecting a little more I think.

According to my bottle of pentosan from horse pre race, yes it can be given IV, but I never have used it IV.

Actually it says IM or IA ( Intra articular). But their Platinum formula does say IV and it contains Pentosan.

Dr Marcotte (from Vinita OK) tells us to give 5-6 cc IV of Pentosan.
