| I need horse costume ideas! I am determined to win the costume class at the county fair this year! The rules are that both you and your horse must be in some sort of costume and if you are riding, you have to wear a helmet. I have already done Indian war pony, Bullseye from toy story and Jessie, race horse and jockey. I want something not uncomfortable for my horse, but really unique. I have a palomino, and chocolate buckskin so I can use either one! I like the idea of doing something with paint! |

| I was little bo peep and my horse was a sheep one year. I bought a sheet and covered it in poly-fill to make it look like sheep's wool. I put a pillow case on her face covered in the stuff too. She was head to toe white fluff! I wore a long blue dress, and wrapped a lunge whip to make it look like a shepherd's staff. We won the costume class that year in a class of at least 15-20 horses. |

Location: North Dakota | I've always thought it would be fun to do Barbie and her horse (palomino's are perfect for this!) Pink hoof polish, pink "B" painted on their hindquarters, pink gypsy tails if you really wanted to go for it. Slip the announcer $1 to play Barbie Girl when you enter the arena. 
If your horse didn't have to be in costume I'd say Paul Revere, just running around the arena "THE BRITISH ARE COMING THE BRITISH ARE COMING!!!!" would be fabulous. Or you could be Loki and his 8 legged horse. Zombie horse and rider. Ummm...I'll brainstorm. |

I've always thought it would be fun to do Barbie and her horse (palomino's are perfect for this! ) Pink hoof polish, pink "B" painted on their hindquarters, pink gypsy tails if you really wanted to go for it. Slip the announcer $1 to play Barbie Girl when you enter the arena.
If your horse didn't have to be in costume I'd say Paul Revere, just running around the arena "THE BRITISH ARE COMING THE BRITISH ARE COMING!!!!" would be fabulous. Or you could be Loki and his 8 legged horse. Zombie horse and rider. Ummm...I'll brainstorm.
I love the Barbie idea! I can put a giant pink bow on the top of his tail and have tons of braids with pink bows in his mane. Poor boy! Lol |
