| Aside from feed through/injectable maintenance, what do you like to do for your horses?
Poultice? Magnetic therapy? Ice therapy? What about for the horses that tend to stock up a bit when stalled a lot? |

Location: TN | Good post! I love learning what everyone does!
I like cold water and ice. Since there usually isn't water available at rodeos I take IceHorse hock wraps and put them on after a run. The first couple times I used them my horse tried to kick them off, but when I used them last night after the rodeo (it was hot) he didn't fight them and actually fell asleep at the trailer. I also spray Sore No More liniment on them. If he has an injury I like to use poultice (numotizine is really good for cooling an injury) but I don't use it after every run. |

Yes, BOT worked for my young horse that I hauled last year. He doesn't like stalls and concrete. I was able to keep any sweeling from occuring when we were caught in the trailer for a long time over 4th of July last year. I really like the PHT for the upper body and I use a magnapulse when I can.
Wish Julie would make some upper leg wraps for us. I'm old school, really believe you have to massage and keep those muscles supple so that you don't have lower tendon issues. My old hands can't massage like they used to!
Ice, Ice, Ice did I mention ice? Also hand walk them a lot when their stalled on hard flooring. |

| A few things help my mare when she has to be stalled at races:
-Tons of shavings in the stall.
-Absorbine liniment bath after every ride
-Professional Choice standing quick wraps w/ Absorbine Gel Liniment on front legs to the knees and Cool Pak Green Jelly on the back legs up to the hocks.
-Absorbine Gel on her lower back and both sides where the girth is
-Lots of hand walking
ETA: We cold hose her legs for 10 minutes before her liniment bath, that also helps to reduce swelling.

| Sore no more clay under my back on track quick wraps or no bows.
I also give Lubrysin daily and noticed a significant difference in the legs, no wind puffs, nice and tight, didn't even need to wrap or poultice. |

Location: Kansas | I love my Back on Track wraps and sheets, and I also have a PHT sheet and 2 pairs of 3-in-1 wraps. Streak has stocked up a couple times after standing at the trailer a long time or being stalled overnight but the BOT wraps seem to fix that problem. I rub legs down with Sore No More after runs, then wait a while before I put any wraps back on. My horses all have Soft Rides which helps with the standing around, but I do like to take them for walks especially if they have to be stalled. I refuse to stall my gray horse on concrete because even with Soft Rides, he'd be sore, and I'm picky about where I park and walk with him. |

Location: South Central Florida | We use a game ready and laser. Sometimes there is a unit at our big shows that has a whirl pool with ice water and like epsom salt and I love to put her in that after each run if possible.
We put her magnet blanket on a few hours a day and massage and Chiropractic all week.
We also get her out of the stall as much as possible and she gets electrolites via pastes. Animal Element makes one that seems to help her drink the best.
Poultice the night before her runs depending on the time she is expected to run.
