Good horses
My Heart Be Happy

I just wanted to thank the good Lord for good horses. . . . My horses are pastured where my son has catfish ponds, and tonight when he was shooting snakes that were after his fry, 3 of our 5 horses ran around Chandler and out the gate. He called me and said come to the pasture and bring your treats---I knew what that meant! When I got down the road he was at our shop and told me to just sit where I was in front of the pasture. I put flashers on the truck and got out with my treat bucket and leash
(didn't take time to hunt in the trailer for halters!!
) I could see him coming down the road leading his mare and the two boys were following. When they got closer the boys saw me and what I had and came trotting up. So I just had them follow me to the gate and into the pasture. When Chandler closed the gate behind us I asked him what he had on Two to lead her with---all he could find was a bunch of extension cords wrapped together!!
(You never know what you'll have in a farm truck that can do double duty!
) Hence back to the title of this----I am so happy the good Lord blessed us with the the 5 horses we own. They are priceless in their demeanor and personalities. Instead of chasing horses at midnight down our road, it was a chance for midnight treat time instead!
