| I seen that on Facebook.
Very sad more people are copying design after design and selling it as their own |

Location: 31 lengths farms | Yes, I sent Bar H a long letter about why Kayla and I designed the headstall we did and more about the mare and just basically gave them a shame on you.

I had the throatlatch tightened to much but was trying to get it where the lettering on it would show up in the photo....The lady from Rockstar was like "OMG, is it too small? I'll make her a new one!!!" LOL!!! Nope plenty of room, just being stupid trying to get a picture of the throat latch...
Again, I highly recommend them, very easy to work with, she kept me informed as to where CC's headstall was in the list. It was a little wait but I feel very worth it and the quality is beautiful. I will eventually have a breast collar made also but really didnt' want it too matchy matchy so will go with the same type "theme" and like colors but not exactly the same.
How about dream catchers with feathers on the breast collar?Dreamcatchers a symbol of unity with your momma:) |

Location: The best kept secret in TX | Shame on them! I bet if enough people called them out on it they would remove it from production. ETA: I went to their website and it's on the front page. Can't find it anywhere to buy and you can't click on the photo. Maybe they took it out of production already? I noticed they first posted it for sale in February of last year...I'm a little late to the party...

Pretty much all their designs are copies of other makers |

Oh trust me I know this. They copy everyone on everything and mark up their own items. I can get a cheap headstall from a feed store for half the price they sell a similar or exact design for. LOL I don't know why Bar H is still in business honestly... It's cheap tack. |

Location: California | I remember seeing this thread before... Such a shame! I did a google of Bar H Tack-this is the first thing that popped up:
http://www.ridingwarehouse.com/Bar_H_Hand_Painted_Arrows__Feathers_Browband_Headstall/descpage-BHHPABH.html?gclid=CID9_bSVn9ICFQKUfgod3BYHfA
There was a tack set that I gave the lady all the ideas of what I wanted... She took my idea & turned it into amazing artwork, aaaaand then turned around and sold lots of the same set, with subtle differences. Thanks lady, the whole reason I paid $500 for CUSTOM was so NO ONE else had it! So now I make my own stuff. lol |

Location: 31 lengths farms | Kayla with Rockstar Custom Leather was very up front, she will do a design similar but not an exact copy, color ect. of a piece she has done for someone else. Then there are the little details, like the added little surprise she put on the throatlatch for me, the cheek pieces being lined in a complimentary color leather and the ties for no additional charge. Bar H and others may copy, but not those little details and to tell you the truth, the prices they were charging for their copy is not much less than I paid for my original. Money well spent in my opinion for a headstall I waited 40+ years to have made for a special little horse. |

Location: 31 lengths farms | The fetlock is still slightly swollen, I've been putting her Cu HOrse wraps on and that helps take it down quite a bit. We've been flooded out the last week or so, today I got to put them back out and I'm sure the fetlock will be swollen again tonight as she was tearing around with her tail in the air acting like an Arab this morning. Sound at the walk and trot but doesn't want to catch that lead in the back in small circles. Tried putting her in when it happened and she refused to eat and just spun circles so she is back out and praying for her being "well behaved"...but she is an epic failure at being an invalid. |

That's the warrior coming out in her!!! (Hopefully she'll calm down enough to get herself healed up properly.) |

Location: 31 lengths farms | Thank you Chandler's Mom, the fetlock was slightly puffy last night again from her romping around when I let her back out but she was moving well at the walk and trot. Sometimes her inner Warrior makes my stomach hurt....
