I love my Bob Marshall, but on this one particular horse I'm tuning up and occassionally running, I need my feet in front of me a little bit more than what my saddle will give. Is there a way to rig up the stirrups so they put my feet a little in front of me instead of directly beneath me?

You could always try tethering them to your breast collar like you see done to kids.

I would LOVE to figure out how to do this as well! At times you just need more range of motion!

Theres not much you can do for a Bob Marshall stirrups placement, theres no room to move the stirrup strap forward. When I would get a BM I always get the Allison Ray rigging, its sets your feet a little more forward, its hard for me to ride with with my feet right underneath my hip. The BM's stirrups just dont have much movement at all.

I don't have the Allison Ray rigging unfortunately. This is an older BM that I bought used. I need it because I ride sooo many different horses and this was my best option to prevent soreness while I'm starting a horse on the pattern.
Well shucks. Guess I'll have to save up some money, sell this saddle, and invest in another!
