| Anyone have any sunfrost or peponita foals? How are their personalities and how were they to break out? Looking at picking a filly up that has both on her papers. any information is appreciated. |

Location: Kansas | I have a grandson of sunfrost. I absolutely love him, He came off a feedlot and had soreness issues....adjusted him and had his teeth done...brand new horse. He's honest, has some buck in him, but works hard to really quick learner. He's only seen the barrel pattern maybe a handful of times, and is already loping the pattern. |

| I have a son of Sun Frost. You couldn't ask for a nicer horse. He is a nice head horse but we just started heeling on him this summer. Super easy to train and athletic. |

Location: Pacific Northwest | We have a 20 year old grandson of Peponita, we've had him for 6 years I think but we knew him for a few years before that. I don't know what he was like to break, but he's a very nice, well broke, calm horse. He's my dad's heeling horse. Incredibly automatic and knows his job. Very cowy, and a lot of fun to just ride because he naturally moves collected and easy-going. I've taken him through the pattern several times without ever actually "teaching" him anything and he did it smoothly and with no bobbles because he just does exactly what you ask him to. He's a sweet horse too, not a mean bone in his body. He would have made an AWESOME youth horse, and I've debated finding a kid that wanted to use him for 4H or Jr rodeo now that my dad doesn't ride as often because of his back and shoulder. |

| I have a great grandson of Sunfront. Purchased him 6 months ago for barrels. Seven years old, very quick learner, level headed, not spooky and surprisingly athletic for his size.  |

Funny you should ask that. I happen to have experience with this exact cross. Lol. A little ways back on the papers but a cross none the less. GREAT horse. My hubby bought him as a 2 year old I think he was. He was broke when he bought him. He did some more breaking and tuning and put him on the pattern. He was on his way to finishing him out when we sold him to his mom as a running horse for her when he was 6. He was still having his colt moments so she had her husband ride him and they seem to click alright.
The horse has a TON of turn. He will give you 500% every single time you ask him to. He lays it all out there every single run. Super super catty. Very very nice horse all the way around. We kick ourselves for selling him at times. Lol. He's just doing fun shows with him but the horse was well on his way to being a solid 2D horse when finished. Possibly faster with a lighter rider. He still eats up a pole pattern too. He will turn out from under you if you're not careful. The cattiest son of a gun I've ever seen and with the most heart and try and just absolute people pleasing personality. Hes a total goober and just loves life and loves to work. Great horse all the way around. |
