Location: Dearing, GA | I would LOVE to go to one, but there haven't been any within a 6 hour haul of me. And, my horse is too sick to go right now anyway. If I had the money, I'd have her horse shop for me, though! I love her! To get a feel for her style, check her out on YouTube. |

Location: Willows, CA | We sponsored a Dena clinic in California earlier this year, and I was really impressed with how much everyone, at every rider and horse level, improved over the time that she spent with each rider. She is super positive, and really can explain her points well. |

Location: Ohio | My question is a the host of clinics for the past 8 years how do you get ahold of her, I have tried over the years and gave up. I haven't been able to get pricing to even see if I could bring her to Ohio? |

| I got ahold of Meg Walter who is Dena's assistant. She informed me Dena is off on the rodeo trail and doesn't have any clinics scheduled. She will be scheduling clinics later this summer. |

Location: TX | Best money I've ever spent. I got to go to a Dena Kirkpatrick/Ian Francis clinic.. it was wonderful. I learned so much from them and have seen a complete turnaround in my horsemanship and competition runs... I would recommend it to anyone. |

Dena is planning some clinics with Ian in Texas this winter. We have discussed doing a nutrition part to these. I will post dates when things shape up. |

| I took my 13 yr. old daughter to a clinic of hers this spring here in Utah. It was some of the best money I have spent. We both learned allot and Dena spent individual time with each person there addressing their issues. Anyways since then my daughter and her little mare have cut 3 seconds off their time . Loved that clinic so much !!!!! |

| I guess I am the only one who has had a negative experience.
I didn't find her worth the money at all
From what I have been told when you go to her clinic she shows you a video at the beginning.
The clinic I went to she said and I quote "I'm not going to show the video, if you haven't watched my DVDs you should have". Well I was one who hadn't watched her DVDs
Also one of the first things she does is goes around and ask the breeding of your horse, (my cousins went to an earlier clinic and she picked up on this as well) she focused on the people who had dash ta fame, dash for perks, and other name brand horses. If you didn't have a name brand horse she spent less time with you.
I have always tried to go to a different clinician each year as one can learn something from everyone and this way I don't get into a rut, this is why I went to Dena.

| When my daughter and went to her clinic she did ask the breeding of all the horses and yes all were well bred for barrels except ours. Our mare is a daughter of smart chic olena and a granddaughter of shining spark on the bottom. By the end of the clinic she had spent more individual time with my daughter than anyone else, staying after the clinic to coach her privately. And also gave us her set of DVDs because we hadn't seen them. I wish everyone else could have as good an experience as we had.

Location: Wisconsin | I have been to two and will not hesitate to attend again, she does ask about breeding but because different breeding does run different and have different styles and she can better help if she knows more. Both of the clinics I went to on horses with breeding she has not personally ridden and did not feel like I got less attention than the others. She is very personable and I have learned a ton from her. |

Just a thought.. I spent the $850 on her clinic with Ian Francis. I've invested thousands of dollars and tons of time into getting my horses trained.. why not spend money on training me? Kind of silly to invest money in the horses but not the rider. I learned so much that weekend that has truly helped me in SO many ways.. OH, and I've won the $850 back and more and I can guarantee you that I would not have won that money if I had not attended that clinic :D |
