I finally got to go there last weekend. I think this is something every American should visit. It really left an impression on me. I don't know why, I just felt compelled to post this.

It is awesome. It's hard not to get choked up walking thru and looking at every thing.

It is a very touching and emotionally dense place.  I would definitely recommend visiting that memorial to anybody.

I agree! It is very emotional if you allow yourself to be in the moment. I couldn't even read or look at some things. All I could think of is all those families and all those children's lives that were affected by one idiot. It is VERY moving.

It took us forever to be able to make ourselves go and see the museum. I am glad we did. Very moving.

Very somber to visit there. Still remember that day--just as clear as 9-11 and Columbine.

You definately need to go to the museum. I don't think I've ever been as moved by anything like this.
