What do yall think? I think he has done pretty good. My husband is blind in his left eye so second and third is a little rough for them. Curious as to how this gelding will pan out. This is their FIRST exhibition and the first time in/out the alley.

Nice job!! He has nice soft hands and his horse is a pleaser it looks like.
My hubby entered my mom's gelding Sunday just to school on him-he was taking advantage of my mom... So hubby was making a "run" to see if he would try him, which he did and he corrected him. Well he went and won the 4-D and some cash lol. Of course all I heard was if he wouldn't have had that bobble on the first he would've beat me...ok!! Hahaha!!
I always tell him the only reason team ropers don't barrel race is so they don't embarrass their wives and take all our money lol.

He looks good. There is a guy that lives in N LA that kept critiquing his wife and she told him if he knew so much just get on a horse a do it himself. In the past year and a half he has won a 3 horse gooseneck trailer and a saddle.

that's typically how it will go.
Guys are almost always better hands than women.
Nature over nurture.
