| I am starting to think about stud possibilities for my Dashin Bye daughter for next year. A link to her pedigree is attached.
http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/first+class+val
Stakes placer of over $6000 on the track with her ROM in racing. She is currently bred to Eye Take Time (Mr Eye Opener x Take After Me) for a Super Stakes 2016 foal and this will only be her second foal.
What crosses well with Dashin Bye daughters for the barrel pen? She is a fair sized mare standing about 15.2hh and I would like the resulting foal to have some height as I am 6ft tall. I am located in Canada but hoping our dollar will improve so I can breed to a stud from the states. I have attached a picture of her from this spring. She has a typical Dashin Bye head :p.
I currently have my eye on French Streaktovegas or A Smooth Guy but open to other suggestions. Would like resulting foal to have a good resale value as if it is a stud colt it will mostly likely be for sale. She has had her 5 Genetic Test Panel sent away but I have not received the results back yet.
Not looking to spend over $1500 on a stud fee.
So what's everyone's suggestions!!! |

| CAN CHASIN COUGAR a new up coming stallion is loaded with famous barrel families along with DTF ... his oldest are just now turning 4yo... he can give you speed, turning and a 15.2- 15.3HH baby ...
Another is FLAMIN TA FAME another young stallion that has a great future in front of him .. owned and trained by Dione Fett . He is double bred DTF ....
You can find both of these on FB by stallion or owners name ...
GOOD LUCK ... |

| If resale value is important, I would go with a well-known stallion. Future Fortunes is always a good place to start the search. How does she catalog? If she has a strong enough maternal race line, then it would be worth it to look for a stallion that is proven both on the track and in the arena. I'm personally interested to hear suggestions because I have a daughter of Dashin Bye that I'll likely breed when she's older. |

| I would point more to race bloodlines and market as a racehorse. Mr Jess Perry sons are good crosses on FDD. Also Corona Cartel, or even just Special Effort.
I would say Best Advice or Ivory James if you want Future Fortunes foal so it appeals to barrel racers too. |

| Although French StreakToVegas is awesome I would stay away if you are trying to add some height. He is very small. I agree with a previous post saying if you want resale value look at Future Fortune horses and incentive programs the offspring will be paid into. Some ideas would be Famous Bugs, Lions Share of Fame, Darkelly would be my top 3 choices. |

You won't find a better crew to work with than the people who handle Lions Share of Fame. I have one that has never before settled A.I.. Not only is she in foal, they got an embryo for me as well. Spent tens of thousands trying to get an embryo years ago when I sold her, this one cost me $3000 plus the stud fee. |

| Being in Canada, (im guessing you are by your stud choices and the Super stakes baby) Keep in mind the exchange rate and shipping if your budget is firm, the low dollars will really affect your stud fee.
I love rasin the moon (Ill have a SS by him next spring) and Dee is awsome.
I have a Filly on the ground by equine excellence, her mind and movement just amazes me. She sold to the first person I acatualy tried to sell her to, just want to love you and still very respectful and can really stretch out and run. ill diffently breed to him again
Root beers boots might be a cool cross
Fiesta Royale
The ones you picked are really nice too!
A few that come to my mind. There's so many more up here that are nice!
I am considering bein up some frozen from the us for one mare next year. Its so darn hard to chose so many nice ones. |

| I would look at blue is rare and Facebook rusty Quam he is proven and has nice babies hitting the ground, there is no doubt rusty will market them into the right hands (including hers) and he will soon be a proven sire as well |

| Thanks for the responses. I am pretty familiar with the Canadian studs and just looking to hopefully have something a little different then everyone else.
Does anyone have any experience with Sixes Royal offspring? |

I'm ridding one right now out of a striking distance daughter. She is big and fast. Really easy to get along with. |

O sorry! I know last year with a $1500 budget i couldent get a 600 us stud fee with exchange rate and shipping and import fees. And planing on two attempts fornshipping just incase, Frozen does cost more to ship and bring across though, thats why I suggested canadian studs.
There's so many nice ones! And your mare looks really nice! You have tons of options, I did see stingrays son will be standing next year and will ship to canada, Im thinking about trying him.... maybe we could share shipping ;-) he is a DTF but nobody will have one of thoes lol!
Id love to see sombody like Slim fitting jeans or Triple Vodka on your mare too!
