I have a yearling that recently tore a part of her hind leg on the fence about 3 days ago. The cut didn't need stiches but is about 2 inches wide and 6 inches across. She is on a four day antibiotic vaccine, and I have been using Underwoods horse medicine with baking powder but ran out. I was wondering if I could use Banixx or Vetericyn with baking powder instead of Underwoods? This wound needs something like the baking powder to keep dirt and debris out.

The baking powder only works with Underwood's.

You need to keep up with the Underwoods if you've alraady been using it. I don't think it would be a good idea to switch up medicines in the middle of treatment. Just my Opinion. You won't get the same results with anything else

I am pretty sure the baking soda works with something in the underwoods. I would order more underwoods. What is an antibiotic vaccine?I love Underwoods personally, I try to always keep at least 1 whole bottle on hand.
