| Has anyone run the LBR circuit? Trying to decide if we should stay with high school or try LB. Have friends trying to talk us into running it. They have more rodeos, finals are going to be in Oklahoma this yr and they said it's easier to qualify for finals |

| My daughter did it. LBR was a lot softer than HS or even the state association here. My one complaint was they weren't very organized and well run rodeos a lot of times. But Finals were great. My daughter maxed out in barrels by March the one year. They were a lot of fun for her. I'd recommend trying them. |

| We did LB and I guess it was good. I found that my kids didn't try as hard because it was a little bit easier. That is in our area. When you get to nationals, the competition is a little tougher. But after the past 2 years of finals that we had, I am glad that we are past the age of LB. Awards at the end of finals took over 9 hours. Points going into nationals were still not correct. So if you do decide to do them. Make sure you keep track of EVERYTHING!! The kids always had fun while we were there in Pueblo. Dont go thinking you are going to make money either.. :) But then I love high school rodeos we did both and if I had to make a choice, it would be High School Rodeo.JMO

| From what I gather the association here is pretty salty. The girl that won the Jrs was 3rd or 4th at All American Youth. And there are a lot more just as good. I think the breakaway is pretty easy. They are kids from La,AL, and Ark coming to run here this yr |

Location: Running barrels or watching nascar | I regret not doing LBR but when I was that age, they were not popular around here. |

| My vote would be both as well. I guess I just look at it like you already have invested so much in horses, trucks, trailers, etc.. might as well hit everything you can, unless there are a lot of schedule conflicts, but surely they wouldn't do that.

| We have thought about doing both. Will have to see schedules and see if it's possible or if they run on same weekends. |
