Would this tall of a cantle have a tendency to throw you forward? Saddle isn't too small so that's not the problem.

The pozzi saddles have a 5" cantle and while I have heard many people claim they feel like they throw them forward I have never experienced it. I think being thrown forward more so relates to your stirrups. If you can't get your feet under you then your balance gets thrown off.

I've ridden in a 5-inch cancel for most of the saddles I own and I've never felt like I've been thrown forward. But I always sat in the size bigger than everyone else seems to think I should be in. Maybe that's why everyone feels like they're being thrown forward so much. I also don't buy saddles that has fixed forward hung stirrups, especially if you want to have a higher cantle then you can't get out of the saddle at all.
