I have tried a ton of diff saddles on my mare
And cannot find a fit.... The saddle fitter said the
Double j pro fit fairly good better than the rest we tried
So I bought a csi pad to go with it and I have perfect
Even sweat pattern no dry spots at all but the hair
Is ruffled. What could be happening that there are
No dry spots but hair is ruffled?

Do you ride with a rear flank? If not, or if you ride with it loose, tighten it up and see if that helps. I can still run
my fingers under mine easily when it's snug enough. Just no daylight when it's on.

I do ride with a rear flank. It doesn't seem to or feel like it's sliding or rocking at all
So I'm curious why there is no dry spots but ruffled hair... Ugh...

The two don't always go together. Dry spots can mean pinching from an area too tight. Roughed up hair
is created from the movement of a saddle. It doesn't have to slide out of position.
