| I have a big race coming up and wanted to get something special for my horse. best suppleents out there that you've used that took a few tenths off or just had them feeling good? |

| THere are no quick fixes. If your horse doesn't have any issues then they are only going to run as fast as they are able. If there is a specific issue then you can treat that issue to improve how your horse feels. |

Location: Piedmont, OK | There are no quick fixes. It takes a while for the supplements to get into their system to start working and then longer to see results. There are a lot of great supplements out there to make you horse feel good but again you have to give it time to get into their systems. Animal Element has several great supplements available. The Foundation Detox is great for their hooves, coat, topline, and joints. The Product X is great for recovery when in heavy training and also gives them energy to go compete. |

Location: Missouri | As mentioned above there are no quick fixes. You can try Oxy-Rush or Jail-Break but that will help with recovery and breathing. No miracle pill. |

Location: True North Strong and Free | With out a doubt PureForm's Pre-Race Ammo. It is a formula that breaks down lactic in the muscle imediatly during the run so they don't hit that "wall", especially coming home. It will also keep your horse from getting body sore for the next day. So if you have a racemeet with multiple runs, it will really help them out.

| No quick fixes, for sure. I recently switched to Platinum Performance CJ, with the advice I got on the forum. It's only been about a week in a half and it has perked my mare up quite a bit. She is not hot or wired, but she rides a little more fresh and is ready work. I also use Oxy-Rush pre-performance paste and have good luck with it giving a boost and helping with respiration. |

I also believe it is illegal to use it, but people still do.
Personally, I don't change anything when I am travelling or going to big races, as each horse can have a different reaction to the supplement or feed. Some horses will even go off of feed if it is changed or something is added.
