I read online somewhere that b 12 injections are advised for horses after colon resections. We've got a 18 yo gelding that is owned by a 11yo girl who seems to get tired easily. He had surgery about 10 years ago and hasnt really been rode consistently until the past year. He gets overheated in the summertime easily. I cannot find the website I read this on, but wanted ya'lls opinion

My old mare always seemed to do better in the summer if I would give her 10cc's once a week of B-150.  It's just a blood building complex that you give IV.   Cheap enough to keep them feeling good.
