I'm moving to Montrose, Co in a few months...are there any solid trainers out there? The filly is started, she just needs to be finished out. Ideally, it would be someone who could take her out on all that public land in the mountains so she learns how to handle herself well and how to always find her feet if she feels she's in a bind. She will eventually be a barrel horse, but I'd prefer her finished out by someone who's more of a ranch hand type. If anyone has suggestions, I'd appreciate it! I don't know anyone out there yet. :)
