I'm putting my little guy up AT NIGHT in his stall with a little turn out and he likes to wear his back on track sheet . Does any of you know if it is ok for him to wear it even if it rains? I hate to lock him in his stall. Will it hurt the sheet or him for that matter? Any thoughts will be greatly appreciate it

It won't hurt the material but he will get wet and the wet blanket will just sit on him all day and not dry....

Okay, just looked at it on BOT website, it states waterproof, but I'd probably hit it again with some waterproofing spray.

You can get them wet, even says yo can wash it on the website....my horse has had one on and gotten rained on while tied overnight at a rodeo. Have to take it off of them though for it too dry, my horse was soaked underneath but I do have the mesh BOT sheet.

If you spray it for waterproofing, will the ceramic fibers still work?

Unless they made some new blankets, you can tell by how the material feels that it is not water proof. :))

They do make a turnout sheet.  Not sure if OP has the turnout or the mesh sheet.
