Subject: impact gel and treeless saddles

Location: Millington, TN		I ride with a 1" impact get pad with my treeless (bm) and have for about 2 years. Now I am hearing that impact gel pads are not good for treeless saddles but I have not had a reason why.  My horse is not sore and I don't have any dry marks under the saddle. I have no rolling issues either. 

Just curious as to why.

I once had a therapy person tell me gel pads were good for nothing but a dog to sleep on and even then she wouldn't do that to the dog.
