Hubby got work truck stuck in mud while following office instructions exactly. Called supervisor to come help, supervisor got stuck, supervisor called another truck to come help, got stuck. Supervisor called tow truck, got third truck and supervisor's truck unstuck and then tow truck got stuck. Currently waiting on a second tow truck. Supervisor made the comment that hubby would probably have to foot the bill and estimated $1500. Is he really responsible when he was doing exactly as told by dispatch?

It was the supervisor who made this comment. Not the company owner. I wouldn't worry about it.

Second tow truck is now stuck, as well. What a cluster.

You need tractors, not tow trucks. Seriously, who made the stupid decision to call a second tow truck after the first got stuck or to not find a tractor in the first place?  Get a tractor and lots of chain, problem solved.

My neighbors got a loaded semi stuck trying to take it back where it should not have gone.  Took two tractors but we got it out, pulled it through the ruts we made with the tractors, all 82,000 pounds of it.

The supervisor called. Not quite a semi but they are still hefty trucks carrying 1500 gallons of water. All in all around 25,000lbs. Hubby is stuck out there until someone gets a clue.

Agreed on the tractors, one of the neighbors out here was trying to get hubby to pull 2 tow trucks and 2 trucks out that were stuck past their axels. I dont understand if a truck gets stuck and the mud is above your knees why would you think a tow truck would beable to pull one out like this, they need to be finding someone with a tractor not a tow truck.

The company that your husband works is responsible for paying the tow fees.
