My brother has a stepchild that is 17 and has been hanging around with some of the wrong crowd. Is there an app or service that you can trace her phone.

Yes, just saw this on the news. I didn't catch the name, but they just aired this on the Today show last week I believe. It's Find my cell phone or something along those lines.

Yup! Friend finder app. Use it all the time. But if 17 year old boy turns location services off on phone it doesn't work.

Here's a review of some of the best ones, their cost. Just be sure you check and make sure there's no ongoing monthly cost in addition to the initial cost.
Nearly ALL of the software
(if not 100% all
) you will have to physically have access to the phone to download the software/program it etc.

What carrier does He have? If the phone is on his plan under verizon or att the "parent phone" can log onto verizon or att website and see literally everything on her phone. It even tells you where the phone is if location services are off. Ask your phone provider about it. I use it for my SO when he rides his dirt bike in the pasture alone. If his phone stays still for a while I know to go check on him LOL

On a quick search this is the very first thing that popped up. It tracks location, allows you to see all text messages even after they have been deleted, instragram as well as what apps have been down loaded.

I do feel like this is a double edged sword. It feels like a ****ed if you do, ****ed if you don't situation. On one side he wants to make sure she is safe, on the other there is a glaring level of distrust and invasion. Children need boundaries and parents need to give them privacy, but to what extent?
