Hubby did fall out on the prices. My b-day is in April AND five year anniversary so that is what I want for both!
Now that almost have him convinced, of course my mare comes up with an eye injury. I will have to wait to sign up. I hope there is a spot left. For the Charmayne James clinic, how many people does she take? I think she takes 35 or something like that

| For 2016, she has added Arizona, Canada and Tennessee. Registration for those is now open. She takes 32 per clinic. It does seem like a lot, but with her and Heather it works out well and they split you up into smaller groups. You really do get one-on-one time with her and she's super easy to talk to and will answer all questions. I hope you decide to go, I really like her and learned a lot! | |

| You are correct that she brings her chiropractor and dentist, and usually has a local vet on call. I would disagree about the "if you don't use her people, you don't get the same attention". I didn't see or experience that at all. Her thought is she wants everyone to come away with a great learning experience...and if your horse his hurting or their teeth are a wreck, that's not going to help you get the most out of the clinic. You can also get a free consultation from the chiro and dentist and have the work done by your own people later...

You are a lucky one, I went and only had 20 minutes of time in three days. Sad really, she's a very nice lady but I left with a lighter wallet and disappointed because of the lack of time she spent on myself and an number of others .... unless you were one of the favorites. | |

This was my experience, as well. But it was when she first started doing clinics. From what I've read and seen, the structure has changed somewhat. When I went, she had an apprentice of Craig Cameron's doing horsemanship. I don't know if she still does that or not? | |

I do hope that her clinic's have changed. But it's not enough for me to chance spending that kind of money again in hopes that I can take more from the clinic other than the fact that she's a very nice/professional lady.  | |

The same thing happened to me. 20 minutes and my horse was still drugged from his teeth. I enjoyed meeting CJ though. | |

It's not set up this way at all anymore. She starts at one end and works her way back for three days straight. Heather does the same, and I'd gladly clinic with just Heather, she's awesome.
There's plenty of one on one time, within the drills and on the pattern.
It's an overwhelming amount of information and saddle time, for what breaks down to be about $250 a day, including the food you bring yourself.
I wish I could go three times a year. I'd be there with bells on. | |

| I have been to both and I much prefer Ed Wright to CJ lots more one on one time and more advanced IMO but I think you can learn something from everybody. | |

How long ago did you go to one of her clinics? I went this past summer and got plenty of one-on-one time and I'm not one to constantly put myself out there and ask questions. My horse took almost 2 hours to get his teeth done and wake back up so she was almost done with the morning session, but she stayed an extra 30 minutes to help me with the drill we were working on since I was gone for so long. She also let me make another run on the last day we were there because I didn't feel like my horse worked well on my first run. She was more than happy to help and encouraged me to take as much time as I needed to get it right! | |
